Sälen in summer
Most people associate Sälen with Skiing and snow, and naturally the winter time is great for holidaying and relaxation here. Nevertheless spring and summer offers wonderful opportunities for the whole family. If you are looking for a place to just plain be, Sälen in summer is the place for you. But you can also find activities that may will increase your heart rate, boost your adrenaline and your energy to new levels. How does a hike along the Vasalopp trail sound? Or why not try the 18 holes of our very popular golf course. If you looking for real challenge, we recommend the High level rope course which offers nerve tingling obstacles such as rope bridges, a zip line a spider web and climbing, all at treetop level.
Sälen also has an abundance of lakes that attract fishermen from both north and south. If you want to leave the fishing equipment at home, you can rent a canoe and glide quietly along the riverbank.
